PUPPY USES

Getting used to the grooming salon

Getting your puppy used to the grooming salon is a valuable investment in a lifetime of relaxing grooming sessions.

At Dog Salon Molly I take the time to ensure that your puppy feels safe and at ease. Everything is done in a loving manner, attuned to the pace of your puppy. The puppy pampering session is built up in several pampering sessions. This calm build-up makes your puppy increasingly familiar with the grooming salon and helps to ensure that future visits run smoothly and without stress.

More information about the different puppy pampering sessions can be found below.

The price of the puppy pampering session applies when these treatments are performed in the correct order. This is so that your puppy becomes familiar with the visits to the grooming salon in a gradual and pleasant way.

Large puppies €40,-

Puppy pampering 8 - 12 weeks

The first introduction to the grooming salon is a playful and positive experience. Your puppy can look around, sniff and get used to the new environment. We introduce the grooming table, the blower and the bath in a calm manner, without forcing anything. I will give you tips to prepare your puppy for his first puppy turn while enjoying a cup of coffee. As the owner, you will stay with him, so that the puppy feels extra safe. This first meeting is completely free.

Puppy pampering from

12 weeks - up to 14 weeks

Now that your puppy is a little older, we are gradually expanding the experience in the grooming salon.

During this pampering session I let the puppy get used to washing, drying and brushing in a calm and playful way.

I try to reassure the puppy and make sure that the puppy experiences the treatment as something positive.

Puppy pampering from

14 weeks - up to 16 weeks

In the period from 14 to 16 weeks I continue to work on familiarizing your puppy with the grooming salon. This turn is a great opportunity to introduce basic care, where I let your puppy get used to various actions with care and patience.

I start with a quiet wash, followed by drying with the water blower, then brushing and combing well with the comb. The feet also get attention, where I carefully trim the hair between the paws and clip the feet around. If the puppy allows it, I also clip the eyes free.
