ABOUT ME

Who am I?

My name is Wendy Zelhorst, and dogs have always played a central role in my life. From a young age I grew up with animals, and my passion for grooming started when I got my first doodle, Molly. In the meantime, dogs named Molly have become a common thread in my life and the inspiration behind Hondenkapsalon Molly.

I am a certified and certified ABHB groomer, specialized in doodles, and affiliated with the Badiergilde and Groomers Europe. I completed my training at the Grooming Academy with honors. With broad knowledge in the field of breeds, cynology, anatomy, physiology, coat types, parasites, diseases and first aid for dogs, I offer the best care for every dog.

In order to follow the latest techniques and trends, I continue to develop myself through workshops, lectures and masterclasses in the Netherlands and Belgium. I have further immersed myself in the care of doodles, poodles, Lhasa Apsos, boomers and salon dogs. In addition, I have been allowed to write an article for Groomers Europe twice.

In my grooming salon everything revolves around loving care and craftsmanship. With patience and personal attention I make sure that every dog feels at ease. Animal welfare is paramount: healthy skin, a well-groomed coat and a relaxing experience are my priority. Hygiene and safety are guaranteed - and of course all cuddles are included!

My mission is simple: happy, wagging tails! I make sure that not only the dog's coat is cared for, but that the dog also leaves the house happy. With time, love and craftsmanship, every four-legged friend gets the attention he deserves. Because a well-groomed dog is a happy dog!
